Sherry Daniel is the chief executive officer of Roto-Rooter Plumbers of Savannah, a full-service industrial, commercial and residential plumbing company that offers services in Savannah, Ga., and surrounding areas. As CEO, Sherry is responsible for strategic planning and oversight of all company operations. Her goals are to continually improve and expand the services she and her staff provide to customers in Chatham, Liberty, Bryan and Effingham counties.
Sherry, who came out of semi-retirement to rebuild the company following the great recession of 2007-09, has been involved with the firm for more than 45 years. Even now, after she’s seen a lot of growth and prosperity, she’s not above putting on a pair of steel toe boots and going into the trenches with her team. Not only has she developed a team of knowledgeable plumbers and drain cleaners but she has also promoted a work atmosphere that prioritizes personal growth and family values. In Sherry’s view, having the opportunity to work with the team she has developed keeps her feeling positive and excited about the future.
Apart from Roto-Rooter, Daniel co-hosts a radio talk show, “The Friday Flush,” every Friday from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. on local radio station WMBQ. She and co-host Don Scott invite listeners to share a laugh and usher in the weekend.
Daniel is a member of the Women’s Council of Realtors. She is also a member of the Chief Financial Officers Council and the Roto-Rooter Franchise Association. She enjoys painting, restoring old chandeliers, songwriting, interior design, billiards, poetry and singing.
Daniel’s son Carl G Pilcher Jr and Nephew, Charles Schneider are part of TeamRoto and Daniel counts everyone on TeamRoto as family also.
